Mobile Brain Bank has a chance to learn from the youth of Europe by taking part in Global Enterprise Project. This is an initiative designed to to promote greater understanding and awareness among young people about globalization,
entrepreneurship and the skills they need to succeed in the global economy.
During the 3-year initiative, 40,000 young people between the ages of 15 and 18 will have the opportunity to try their hand at enterprise, learn valuable entrepreneurial skills and apply their knowledge in new ways.
In Finland, we are partnering with Helsinki Business College‘s ICT students. This week we visited two classrooms full of young people planning their enterprises for the term. Mobile Brain Bank will mentor a handful of these companies from now until end of spring term 2013. We are extremely excited about this cooperation with the teens, and will report back to you on their progress.
We are starting with four different young companies:
Molten Moss Studios: producing a video game
Net Site Service: producing websites
SimpleScreen: producing advertisement for websites
FastFit Gym: creating an electronic training program for young people
